Richard Harbon meets Ali from Tutti Frutti
For the past four years, Tutti Frutti has brought handmade children’s clothing, wooden toys and books to Garden Square Shopping Centre. As well as being beautifully designed, they’re all created with a strong focus on sustainability.
Owner Ali and her team make the clothing themselves, continuing Letchworth Garden City’s proud tradition of creativity and craftsmanship. “We moved here around 11 years ago because we loved the green open spaces and the town centre,” says Ali. “As the business grew, opening a shop in Letchworth felt like the natural next step. This is where my community is and it just felt right.”
That community spirit extends far beyond the shop. Tutti Frutti leads the annual Little People Love Letchworth event in partnership with Best Before Café. The free family day brings together local support organisations, activity and education providers, food and drink offers, children’s rides and much more; helping families from across Letchworth access support while enjoying a memorable day together.
