Breathe Radio – Privacy Policy

Effective date: 28 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Breathe Radio ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Breathe Radio skill for Amazon Alexa (the "Skill"). By enabling or using the Skill, you agree to the practices described below.

What the Skill does

The Skill allows users to stream the Breathe Radio live audio broadcast on Alexa-enabled devices. It does not require an account, does not ask you to sign in, and does not request access to any personal Alexa permissions (such as your name, address, email, location, contacts, or device address).

Information we collect

We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information about you through the Skill.

When you interact with the Skill, Amazon processes your voice request on its own servers in order to recognise speech and route the request to the Skill. The Skill itself only receives the resulting intent (for example, a request to play, pause, resume, or stop the stream). We do not receive recordings of your voice, your Amazon account details, or your device identifiers.

When your device connects to our audio stream, our streaming provider may automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, connection time, bitrate, and user-agent string. This information is used solely to deliver the audio stream reliably, to monitor stream health, and to compile aggregate listening statistics. It is not used to identify individual listeners.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, postal addresses, phone numbers, payment information, precise location, contacts, calendar entries, or any health or biometric data through the Skill.

How information is used

Any technical information logged by our streaming provider is used only to:

  • deliver the live audio stream to your device,
  • diagnose and resolve technical issues,
  • monitor overall audience size and stream performance, and
  • protect the service against abuse.

We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

The Skill relies on Amazon Alexa to process voice requests and play audio. Your use of Alexa is governed by Amazon's own privacy notice and terms, available at amazon.com. We are not responsible for Amazon's practices.

The audio itself is delivered via our streaming provider, whose role is limited to transmitting the broadcast to your device.

Children's privacy

The Skill is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below and we will take appropriate steps.

Data retention

Because we do not collect personal information through the Skill, there is nothing for us to retain. Aggregate stream logs are kept by our streaming provider only for as long as is reasonably necessary to operate and improve the service.

Your choices

You can disable the Skill at any time from the Alexa app under More → Skills & Games → Your Skills → Breathe Radio → Disable Skill.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Skill's listing page in the Alexa app.
